About This Release
The 2022 J. Wrigley Vineyards Pinot Noir from the McMinnville AVA is a superb expression of Oregon’s premier Pinot Noir region. Elegant, bright, and energetic, it is drinking beautifully now and will continue to evolve gracefully over the next 7–10 years.
The 2022 Willamette Valley vintage has been hailed as outstanding across the board. A long, cold, and wet winter, followed by a late April frost, delayed the growing season by nearly six weeks. Vines were forced to rebound with fresh shoots, setting the stage for a make-or-break summer. Fortunately, a warm, dry summer and extended autumn provided ideal ripening conditions. By harvest, the challenges of spring had faded into memory as pristine fruit with vibrant flavor and natural acidity came off the vines.
This Pinot Noir reflects the character of that season—pure, expressive fruit layered with freshness, definition, and energy. The delayed harvest, coupled with warm days and cool nights, preserved beautiful acidity to balance the ripe fruit. The result is a wine of depth, vibrancy, and balance, consistent with the critical acclaim the vintage has received across the Willamette Valley.
The 2022 J. Wrigley Vineyards Pinot Noir is accessible, flavorful, and refined—an irresistible example of the elegance and vitality that Oregon Pinot Noir can achieve.

Tasting Notes
An elegant terroir driven wine, light to medium ruby with garnet highlights, this wine smells of dried herbs, raspberries, red apple skin and citrus peel. In the mouth juicy red currant, sour cherry, pomegranate and raspberry flavors are shot through with dried herbs and citrus peel. Faint gauzy tannins add texture and a hint of brown sugar lingers in the finish along with dried herbs. Wonderfully balanced, with great verve.

2024 Anderson Valley Pinot Noir – Golden Fleece Vineyard
Perched in the hills between Boonville and Philo above Indian Creek, Golden Fleece Vineyard is a jewel of Anderson Valley. Planted in 2015, its five hillside acres of heritage Pinot Noir clones—Calera, 115, and 667—are farmed with strict organic and regenerative methods, yielding fruit of extraordinary purity and depth.
Southwest-facing slopes at 850–1,000 feet, layered Wolfey, Bearwallow, and Casabonne soils, and the cooling influence of both the Pacific and Indian Creek define this singular site. The result is Pinot Noir of striking phenolic weight, brilliant acidity, and terroir-driven complexity.
The 2024 harvest, modest in yield yet exceptional in quality, produced smaller clusters bursting with character. Expect shimmering red fruit, lifted florals, and mineral undertones—all carried by a refined structure that promises both immediate seduction and long-term cellar life.
This is a limited release for collectors: a true expression of Anderson Valley’s elegance and Golden Fleece’s uncompromising pursuit of excellence.
